Who we are

RavelCreator is operated by Core-FBM Management Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (CRN 17168590), trading as RavelCreator ("we", "us"), of 82a James Carter Road, Mildenhall, Suffolk IP28 7DE, United Kingdom. For data protection purposes we are the data controller for information about your account, and a data processor for the media files you upload.

What we collect

• Account information — name, email address, billing details, and the organisation you belong to.
• Media you upload — the video files you submit for processing, and the output files we generate from them.
• Usage information — technical logs, including IP address, browser type, and records of processing jobs, needed to run and secure the service.
• Analytics — only where you have consented. See our Cookie Policy.

Your media files

Files you upload are processed solely to produce your outputs. We do not publish, share, sell, or distribute them. We do not use them to train machine learning models. Access is restricted to the systems performing the processing and to authorised personnel where required to resolve a technical fault.

Files are retained for 60 days and then deleted. You may delete your files at any time from your account.

Early access preview

If we invite you to the early access preview, we record information about how you use it, linked to the email address the invitation was sent to. This is so we can understand which parts of the product people find useful before it launches.

• Your invitation — the email address it was issued to, any name or company label we recorded, and when it was issued, used or withdrawn.
• Sign-in activity — when you signed in, and when you were last active.
• Pages and sections viewed — which parts of the preview you looked at and roughly how long each was on your screen.
• Technical context — your browser's user agent string, the country your request came from, and the page that referred you. We do not store your IP address against this activity.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding how a pre-release product is used, balanced against the limited and non-sensitive nature of what we record. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not share it with anyone.

Early access activity records are deleted automatically 60 days after they are created. You can ask us to delete yours sooner, or to stop recording it, by emailing privacy@ravelcreator.com — this will not affect your access to the preview.

Signing in uses a strictly necessary cookie that keeps you logged in. It is not used for tracking across other websites and carries no advertising identifiers.

Legal basis

• Contract — to provide the service you have signed up for.
• Legitimate interests — to secure the service, prevent abuse, and maintain technical records.
• Consent — for analytics cookies and marketing email, which you may withdraw at any time.
• Legal obligation — where we must retain records, such as for tax.

Who we share it with

We use third-party providers to run the service. Each acts under contract and only on our instructions. Our current sub-processors are:

• Cloudflare, Inc. — website hosting, DNS, application database and storage. Our database is provisioned in Cloudflare's Western Europe region.
• Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc.) — delivery of transactional email such as early access sign-in links. Our sending region is Ireland (EU).

We will update this list before adding any further provider.

Where data is transferred outside the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, port, or object to our processing of your personal data. To exercise any of these, contact us at the address above. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Security

We use encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and audit logging. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable and appropriate measures to protect your data.

Changes

We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the date above. Material changes will be notified by email.
